Rich buttery toffee topped with pretzels, dark chocolate, walnuts and sea salt. This recipe is so quick and easy and always impresses a crowd. 

CHOCOLATE, PRETZEL & TOFFEE BARK

Serves 6

INGREDIENTS

220g butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup salted pretzels
250g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
70g walnuts, roughly chopped
Sea salt

METHOD

Get all of your ingredients measured and ready before you start. 

In a large pot over a medium heat, melt butter. Add the sugar and stir until toffee becomes golden brown. 

Pour toffee onto baking tray and spread out evenly until around 5mm thick. It won't spread out over the entire tray. If your toffee separates slightly, pour off any excess melted butter before pouring onto tray. 

Scatter pretzels on top of toffee, then sprinkle over chopped chocolate. Chocolate will start to melt, using a spatula to smear it out evenly of toffee. Top with chopped walnuts and a pinch of sea salt.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes before breaking up into chunks.
